The Samara Jan Turkel Foundation was established in January 1995 in memory of our daughter Samara who lost her life to an unknown, undiagnosed autoimmune disease. Samara was just 5 years old. Samara's life was rich, full, sweet, and sorrowfully short. It is with the memory of her love and her importance to us that we try to prevent this tragedy from happening to another family.
The Samara Jan Turkel Clinical Center established at Children's Hospital Boston is the first triage clinic of its kind at the world's premiere children's hospital. We offer diagnosis for complex issues of pediatric autoimmune diseases, treatment solutions, resources to families by understanding the strain on the family unit with a chronically ill child. For 16 years We are making better tomorrows today.
On December 1st we remember Samara's 21st birthday. With your help and generosity we want to do something incredible just as we have done incredible things before. Samara's clinic is testimony to the depths of our friendships, without you none of this would have been possible. We ask you to go to the well once more by joining the 21 club. We ask that through email or social media that we harness the power of the internet and that you will pass this on. We ask for $21 dollars (you can add a zero or few if you like) and we ask you to ask 4 others and them to ask 4 others, and……..HOW BIG CAN WE BE in an effort to do something great???
Just click the link and please pass it along. From the bottom of our hearts our family thanks you for remembering Samara.
